Traditional Chinese Medicine also known as TCM is a broad range of medicine practices sharing common theoretical concepts which have been developed in China and are based on a tradition of more than 2,000 years, including various forms of herbal medicine, acupuncture, massage (Tui na), exercise (qigong), and dietary therapy.
In traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) cupping is a method of applying acupressure by creating a vacuum on the patient's skin to dispel stagnation — stagnant blood and lymph, thereby improving qi flow — to treat respiratory diseases such as the common cold, pneumonia and bronchitis. Cupping also is used on back, neck, shoulder and other musculoskeletal conditions. Its advocates say it has other applications, as well.
Acupuncture, frequently combined with herbal medicine, has been used for centuries to treat some but not all causes of infertility. By utilizing different combinations of acupuncture points can affect the release and subsequent balance of hormones responsible for regulating cycles.
